CREATED A LEGACY FOR THEIR SYNAGOGUE

Hy and Rita Fink established three deferred gift annuities, one for each of Hy’s children. The adult children will receive annuity payments for each of their lifetimes and, afterwards, the remainder will be used to establish a permanent endowment in the Fink Family name for the benefit of Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek and also provide for some smaller distributions to other charitable organizations.
Hy and Rita’s philanthropic family vision allowed them to realize a sizable income tax deduction, remove property from their estate, provide for the children, and create a legacy for the synagogue that “welcomed them with warmth when they attended their first service.”
